Friday 26 April
The AGM will be held at the Bishop's Palace Hereford HR4 9BL at 7pm.
Following a buffet supper, we will hear a talk about the history of Brecon Cathedral.
Saturday 27 April
At the Pilgrim Hotel, Much Birch HR2 8HJ
Morning: a talk about Kilvert by John Price.
Afternoon: a visit to Llanshifr and Newchurch.
Evening: 7 for 7:30 The Kilvert Society Dinner at the Pilgrim Hotel.
Wednesday 26 June
A visit to Moccas. Meet at Moccas church at 11.30am for a picnic lunch (bring your own) and a visit to the church. At 2pm, we will visit Moccas Park and Moccas Hill where there is a new plantation of trees donated by Kilvert Society members. Tea will be provided for us at the village hall.
The date of this event has changed since Journal 58 went to press.
Wednesday 25 September
A visit to Oxfordshire. We hope to visit Wootton by Woodstock church where Kilvert was married, and 'Holly Bank', the former home of Elizabeth Ann Rowland, Mrs Kilvert. This is subject to confirmation and will be instead of visiting Oxford city.
